ABOUT US
The idea for Rosemary and Thyme originated from Lisa Rotondi's love of sandwiches and soft-serve ice cream. As the founder of Organic Kids LA, where she serves thousands of meals every week to Angelino school kids, Lisa has discovered the miraculous touch of simple flavors mixed with top-quality ingredients.
As a kid growing up in the Midwest, a trip to the DQ for a simple hot fudge sundae on soft serve ice cream was her favorite thing. Another favorite thing was her Italian grandma's perfect summersausage sandwiches on a freshly baked Italian loaf. The older we get the more we yearn for those yummy comforts from our past. Searching for the perfect sandwich in LA has been more than elusive. Lisa and team decided to throw down some R&D and voila....Rosemary & Thyme was born.
Welcome Rosemary And Thyme to the flourishing Picfair Village neighborhood. Housed in the old Olsen's Deli space on Pico and Spaulding, R+T delivers mouthwatering sandwiches, built on organic Black Forest Bakery sourdough bread and dripping with flavor and gusto. Lisa's vision would not be complete without a simple, delectable soft-serve. As soon as she found Straus Organic Creamery, R+T was ready to come to life.
